Crazy Dexter

This is my cat Dexter in one of his more chaotic moods. He’s a real attention seeker and will climb on anything just to get noticed.

I changed the background colour from what our home décor actually looks like because I wanted him to stand out better and still have a bright joyful colour. There are flecks of metallic gold paint throughout his fur because in real life his fur does this naturally.

Hopefully I have captured his crazy expression that he has when he is in such a hyperactive mood, one that I suspect many cat owners will recognise.

The painting has a satin varnish coating on it to accentuate the colours and protect the picture. It will be supplied without the acrylic glass window on it as displaying it bare allows the metallic paint elements to reflect more, giving more intensity and depth. However, the acrylic glass window is tucked between the painting and the back board so if you want it, it’s available. It has a layer of plastic on both sides which will need to be peeled off before display.
