Description
This was painted from reference photo donated to me by Honey Bea Moments photography. This highland cow with it’s majestic horns and shaggy hair was staring straight at the camera. I wonder if that was just out of curiosity, or was he feeling a little territorial. Either way it made for a great shot.
I have used some metallic gold to highlight a few strands of hair and give more depth. The dark green background is not only to suggest the grass of the field he is in but to contrast with the cow so he stands out.
At just 20 x 20 cm this could sit on a shelf as the black frame has a built in easel stand, or it is ready to hang on the wall.
