New best friend

Description

This  painting is based on a photo that my bridesmaid took at my wedding. We were feeding the resident Alpacas and she took a snap of the excited and expectant face of the fella she was offering food to. His nose is high in the air as he looks up to her, hoping for something yummy to eat. He has been recently sheered so the fluffy mop on his head was to stark contrast to the close cut he had everywhere else.

I have used metallic paint mostly in the background to show how the sun light reflected off the grass and trees. There is a little in the alpacas coat as well just to help bring him to life.

The painting has a satin varnish coating on it to accentuate the colours and protect the picture. It will be supplied without the acrylic glass window on it as displaying it bare allows the metallic paint elements to reflect more, giving more intensity and depth. However, the acrylic glass window is tucked between the painting and the back board so if you want it, it’s available. It has a layer of plastic on both sides which will need to be peeled off before display.
