Description

This bright and colourful painting shows off the wonderfully oversized orange beak that Toco Toucans are famous for. Personally, I love their cheeky personalities as they are such intelligent birds. With the blue skin around their eyes sitting in stark contrast to the yellow feathers surrounding it, you are automatically drawn to it.

The leafy background is a nod to the vibrant jungles that they are native to. In my signature style, I have included some metallic paint to give extra shine in places, increasing the energy of the painting.

The painting has a satin varnish coating on it to accentuate the colours and protect the picture. It will be supplied without the acrylic glass window on it as displaying it bare allows the metallic paint elements to reflect more, giving more intensity and depth. However, the acrylic glass window is tucked between the painting and the back board so if you want it, it’s available. It has a layer of plastic on both sides which will need to be peeled off before display.
